EnviroMysteries was designed to show how to become active participants in local, national, and global environmental health issues by becoming literate in science and health. The video dramas and mini-documentaries, along with their accompanying lesson plans and student activities, can help students understand the process of scientific inquiry, evaluate the information they acquire, and make informed decisions based on fact.

Educational expert from Maryland Public Television and the Environmental Health Centers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health have teamed up to create EnviroMysteries and the teacher's guide materials that support the video dramas.

Rights granted with purchase include: a) life of media audiovisual use, b) public performance, c) campus or building closed circuit and digital/video-on-demand transmission.
