Amazing Art Adventurestransports elementary children into the world of visual art.
Each of the ten, 15-minute programs focuses on a specific concept. The programs are divided into three chapters where children see and experience the visual arts.
The adventure begins in Chapter One, moving a concept from the studio to the world around us. Chapter Two continues the adventure with the experience of one contemporary artist at work. The Final Chapter concludes the adventure at a museum or other locale. Children look at that program's concept from a technical and creative approach, considering the cultural, historic, critical and aesthetic values.
