Ghostwriter is about the lives and adventures of six kids who share a big secret: a
friendly ghost helps them solve mysteries. But the real secret is that this irresistible
series captivates kids and teaches them to love writing and reading.
Set in an urban background, the half-hour programs feature a multi-ethnic and multi-talented
cast of children who solve neighborhood mysteries with the help of their intriguing friendly
ghost, who communicates only through reading and writing.
Targeted at 7 to 10-year olds - but suitable for all elementary students - Ghostwriter
combines the best of music videos with the imagery and energy of popular movies and television.
Studies show that Ghostwriter particularly appeals to economically disadvantaged and
minority children.
