Healthward Bound: A Lifelong Journey brings the miracle of the human body to life in the classroom. The episodes and guide is designed to meed the of health and science students. As a multimedia teaching tool, Healthward Bound is ideal for student with different learning systels and capabilities and for cross-curricular applications.

Healthward Bound opens with an orthopaedic surgon walking through a dinosuar exhibit and discovering a truck filled iwth human bones. The surgon assembles a human steklton, bone-by-bone the skelton takes shapes. Other medical professionals begin adding to the form - organ by organ, system by system - until a complete human body is assembled. "Huam" the newing formed guest guides students through the reamiaining episodes.

Throughout Healthward Bound medical professionals highlight each organ and system and how the human body changes trhoughout a lifetime. The spealist present a wealth of information in clear and simple sequences. Colorfu animation, fascinating, film footge inside organs and sytems, intriguing facts and helpful grapics make learning accessible and fun.
