Pediatric Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

The course concentrates on oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures done in the office with local anesthesia. Initial evaluation, differential diagnosis, and working clinical diagnoses are discussed and management of the problem is outlined.

Surgical procedures demonstrated include: removal of a fibroma, correction of a partial ankyloglossia and removal of a stone from the Whartons duct, and exposure of #27 and placement of a bracket for orthodontic treatment.
