Surfing- How does a surfer stay on top of a wave? Host David Heil and oceanographer Rick Grigg explore how waves form and move through the ocean. David tackles some waves in Hawaii and discovers that surfing is a real science. Students learn how gravity helps surfers control their boards, how surfers get on top of the waves, and how waves form and move across water.
