|
Order Number: 519.0007

Rhythm is the heartbeat of music and makes the music move!
Jazz percussionist Max Roach helps students learn that different rhythmic patterns create different kinds of movement and how to identify some of the most common rhythms in music. He uses the four “limbs” of his drum set to illustrate how different rhythmic patterns can be layered to create a composition.
Your students can explore these rhythmic concepts in a variety of in-class activities.
