Format : DVD

The decade of the 1990s was marked by the break-up of Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia and the reunification of East and West Germany.

George Bush relinquished the presidency to Bill Clinton. President Clinton, in turn, almost relinquished the executive office, via the impeachment process, because of a “roving eye.” Princess Diana marries, divorces, and dies a tragic death.

The 1990s was truly the electronic age with the proliferation of web sites, e-mail, and e-commerce. The World Wide Web changed the way the world communicated. The booming economy welcomed the North American Free Trade Agreement Act (NAFTA). The Americans faced the new millennium with a healthy economy, a functioning democracy, and a more open and diversified society.

This episode has two DVDs. One provides a linear play format and the other an indexed format. The indexed format is ideal for students preparing video reports.
